Sollebos lends its name from the eponymous area of woods and fields in which the house and barn is located. On the same property, a country house and stable is located as well.

Sollebos is managed by the hospitable couple Leen and Stefaan, who also live on the property.

Stefaan has a passion for reclaimed building materials combined with modern techniques and led the construction of the house which started in 2019 and took 4 years to complete. A lot of the materials used are reclaimed, like the façade stone, fireplace, steel windows, tiles, lanterns, … . In terms of modern technology, the property features a.o. domotica (home-automation), build-in stereo, alarm system, electricity from renewable energy (solar), … .

Leen on the other hand combined her creativity and handiness with her eye for detail and decorated the house from top till bottom.

As they both recently retired and enjoy traveling, both of their children, Katrien and Marnix, co-manage the property along with them.
